The ongoing goal at the Cantalician Center for Learning is to provide comprehensive and family-centered evaluations of children who are suspected of having learning difficulties, speech and language delays, sensory motor disorders, behavior problems or motor delays.

Types of Evaluations

Multidisciplinary initial and supplemental evaluations for school district's Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) programs.

Multidisciplinary developmental evaluations (MDEs) for Erie and Niagara County's Early Intervention programs (EI).

Supplemental Early Intervention evaluations (when child is observed to have an additional area in need of further or more in-depth evaluation).

 Multi-Disciplinary Evaluation Team

Providing state-required components of a preschool evaluation including:

• Speech/Language Pathologist

• Occupational Therapist

• Physical Therapist

• Special Education Teacher (including bilingual Spanish)

• School Psychologist

 The Cantalician Center is available to help families make referrals to their county's Early Intervention Program or to the school district's Committee on Preschool Special Education. Please contact Jackie Skinner at (716) 901-8700 or [email protected]
