Responsible for the coordination, oversight and financial success of special projects, assigned business operations, capital campaign, annual campaign and grant writing for the Cantalician Center as well as outreach efforts to prospective donors and volunteers. Bachelor's Degree in related field, five years of operations, development and/or grant writing experience. MBA and three year's experience in a non-for-profit organization preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in Counseling or Psychology and 5 years direct clinical, educational experience with children with developmental disabilities. Preferred: Master's Degree in School Administration and/or Social Work, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and five years of Administration experience; and five years direct clinical, education experience with developmental disabilities.
The Behavior Consultant is responsible for classroom consultation, development of Functional Behavior Assessments, behavior intervention plans, implementation of behavioral support plans, treatment integrity, monitoring, parent education, and staff training. Candidate must have a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, and five years of direct clinical and education experience; and five years experience with developmental disabilities. SCIP-R & First Aide Certifications are required within thirty days of employment.
The Behavior Technician provides behavioral services to individuals with severe developmental and cognitive disabilities, their families, and the staff who serve them. Candidate must have an Associate's Degree in Education, Psychology, Human Services or a related field. Two years of experience in implementing behavioral support plans with developmentally disabled students. It is preferred to have a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Human Services or a related field from an accredited four year college or university. Must have certification in Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention or Therapeutic Crisis Intervention or other recognized program for addressing and resolving crisis. First Aide and CPR Certifications required upon hire.
High School Diploma or GED required. Prior experience preferred. $9.10 per hour. Hours are 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Provides direct individualized work skills training and supervision to individuals receiving services in a work setting. Preferred: Minimum: HS Diploma/GED plus four years experience in production or manufacturing and/or work with the developmentally disabled population. Must have a valid NYS Driver's License in good standing. $10.48 per hour.
Assists individuals receiving services in acquiring and/or maintaining the skills, personal habits and positive attitudes that will enable them to maintain and/or enhance independence. Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Services plus one year pertinent experience in providing services to developmentally disabled adults. Minimum: High School diploma or GED. Must have a valid insurance and NY State driver's license in good standing.
For early intervention and preschool evaluations. Responsible for coordinating screenings and educational assessments for students referred by counties for evaluation. Must have a NYS Teaching Certification, preferably in Special Education (Birth-2) or a licensed Speech, Occupational or Physical Therapist. Experience with DAYC-2 preferred.
Physical Therapist needed for early intervention and preschool evaluations. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, New York State Certification and American Physical Therapy Association Accreditation. Prior experience in school setting with developmentally disabled children preferred.
Occupational Therapist needed for early intervention and preschool evaluations. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in NY State by NYSED. Preferred: Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and Special Education Pre-K -6 Teacher Certification required. Hours 7:30- 3:30 Monday through Friday. Scheduled as needed.
Responsible for transporting students with developmental disabilities to and from the Academic Campus in a bus/van and performing all of the supplemental classroom aide responsibilities. Must have a NYS Drivers License in good standing and a clean driving record. Must have a 19-A certification or the ability to obtain same. Experience with older child a plus. 10.05/hour.
High School Diploma or GED required. Prior experience preferred. $10.10 per hour. Hours are 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
NY State Teacher Assistant Certification or a Teacher Certification required. Prior experience Preferred. 10.20 per hour. Hours are 7:30 am - 2:30 pm.
