Development  Director

The Development Director is responsible for the coordination and financial success of all development activities including funding for capital projects, fund raising events, annual campaign and grant writing for the Cantalician Center as well as outreach efforts to prospective donors and volunteers. Minimum qualifications: Bachelors Degree in related field; two years of marketing and special events coordination experience.  Preferred:  Bachelor's Degree in related field, five years of development and grant writing experience; three year's experience in a non-for-profit development office. Applicant must have a New York State Drivers License in good standing, valid New York state registration and automobile insurances. 

Quality Assurance / Corporate Compliance Officer

Oversees the planning and implementation of the Agency's corporate compliance activity, general quality assurance, quality improvement program, and strategic planning. Ensures compliance with all governmental and contractual rules and regulations. Serves as Corporate Compliance Officer responsible for the coordination, planning, and implementation of the Agency's general compliance activities. Coordinates compliance surveys and activities.  Serves as the HIPAA and FERPA Privacy Officer.   Bachelor's Degree and six (6) years of relevant experience. Valid New York State Driver's License in Good Standing.  Reliable form of transportation.

Full-Time Physical Therapist

Provide therapeutic services, to a diverse population of students with developmental disabilities. Minimal:  Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an institution accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association. Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an institution accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association preferred. New York State Certification required. 

Full-Time Teacher Assistant

New York State Teacher Assistant Certification required. Prior experience preferred.  $10.20 per hour. Hours are 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. 

 

Supplemental Classroom Aide

High School Diploma or GED required.  Prior experience preferred. $9.25 per hour. Hours are 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Scheduled as needed.

Temporary Full-Time Speech Therapist

Speech Therapist needed for Pre-School and School -Age programs. Bachelors degree in Communication Disorders, NYS teaching certificate.  Starting Salary $42,840

 

Per Diem Speech Therapist 

Speech Therapist needed for Pre-School and School -Age programs. Bachelors degree in Communication Disorders, NYS teaching certificate.  

 

Supplemental Day Habilitation Specialist

Supplemental Day Habilitation Specialists provide structured activities designed to meet the special needs and choices of participating individuals in the supplemental day rehabilitation program; and immediate supervision for participating individuals within the community.  Individuals are taken on outings in the late afternoon or early evening on week days; or alternatively on the weekends. The outing must relate to the individual's ISP, skill acquisition and interests.  High school diploma or GED and New York State Driver's License in good standing required. Associate's Degree in Human Services, plus one year of pertinent experience in providing services to developmentally disabled adults preferred. $10.48 per hour. Hours 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.  Candidates must have a valid New York State Driver's License in good standing; reliable motor vehicle registered in New York State and proof of automobile insurance.  Staff must be willing to transport individuals receiving services in their own vehicles.  Flexibility in scheduling required.  Part time, $9-12/hour. 

 

IT Intern (Paid Position)
Cantalician Center for Learning has over 250 computers at our locations.  The intern would be responsible to assist with the support and maintenance of said computers as well as the technology of the agency as a whole.
