VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITES

Cantalician Center is looking for volunteers for its adult service programs.  Consider offering your talents or sharing your hobbies with the individuals we service.  

Individuals interested in volunteering in our instructional program can apply to be a Foster Grandparent through Catholic Charities. Persons over the age of 55 who meet income eligibility requirements are provided a stipend, transportation and a meal as they establish one-to-one relationships with our children.

Internships

Cantalician Center works collaboratively with colleges and universities to offer a myriad of internships in our instructional and non-instructional programs. 

Human Services Internship

• Open to students currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree Human Services or related field program of study 
• Must have at least 30 credit hours to be eligible
• 150 hour requirement over the course of one semester
• College credit contingent upon college requirements
• Unpaid

Medicaid Service Coordination/Rehabilitation Counseling Internship

• Open to graduate students currently enrolled in a Master's Degree Program in Social Work or Rehabilitation Counseling
• 150-300 hour requirement over the course of one semester
• College credit contingent upon college requirements
• Unpaid

Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy/Speech Therapy Internship

• Open to students currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's related Therapy Program   
• Must have at least 30 credit hours to be eligible
• 150 -300 hour requirement over the course of one semester
• College credit contingent upon college requirements
• Unpaid

Student Teaching Internship

• Open to students currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree Human Services or related field program of study 

• Must have at least 30 credit hours to be eligible
• 150-300 hour requirement over the course of one semester

Information Technology Internship

• Open to students currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree Information Technology or related field program of study
• Must have at least 30 credit hours to be eligible
• 150 hour requirement over the course of one semester
• College credit contingent upon college requirements
• Unpaid
  

Art/Art Therapy Internship

• Open to students currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Art, Art Therapy or related field program of study
• Must have at least 30 credit hours to be eligible
• 150 hour requirement over the course of one semester
• College credit contingent upon college requirements
• Unpaid

Internships require approval by your college or university and an Affiliation Agreement between the Cantalician Center and college or university the applicant is affiliated with.
