Certified Group Day Habilitation
Individuals who attend Certified Day Hab need a higher level of staff support than is available in Day Hab Without Walls. The emphasis is on independent skill building and community integration. Individuals in this service work closely with staff to increase skills in independent living such as cooking, cleaning, and self-preservation while also having opportunities to explore hobbies such as arts and crafts, music, culture, and language.
Supplemental Day Habilitation
Individuals who participate in Supplemental Day Hab have opportunities in the evenings and on weekends to explore Western New York with a small group. They are encouraged to come up with activities they would enjoy and to plan them with the group, learning about budgeting, compromise, and using resources through the process.
