Academic Campus - Depew

 

 

Physical Therapist - School Based - Full Time

Provide therapeutic services, as per the guidelines set forth by the American Physical Therapy Association, to a diverse population of students with developmental disabilities with in a school setting. Assess, plan, organize and participate in therapy programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and endurance, and decrease or prevent deformity in students suffering from disease or injury.  The Candidate must possess a Baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy from an institution accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association. A  Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an institution accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association is preferred.  Candidate must be eligible for or holding a current Physical Therapy license and registration in New York State. Must pass state license exam and provide current license and registration within six months of hire date.


Temporary Speech Language Pathologist - School Based 

Provide intervention that is appropriate to the age and learning needs of each individual student that is selected through an evidence-based decision-making process as mandated by each student's IEP. Provide services to support the instructional program by working in partnership with others to meet students' needs. Speech Language Pathologists are expected to work with all age levels serving a full range of communication disorders. Maintains records of student progress and communicate effectively with families, staff, and other human service professionals. Must have a Bachelors degree in Communication Disorders and a NYS teaching certificate. Preferred: Masters degree in Communication Disorders; NYS license or CFY availability. This position is a Temporary position expecting from March through October 2016.  First shift, Monday through Friday.

   

Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist - Community Based 

Servicing early Intervention (0-3 yrs) population and some preschool (3-5 yrs).  Preferred Master's degree in communication disorders and be a NYS licensed Speech Language Pathologist. Candidate must be organized and able to work independently. Only strong clinical fellow candidates with relevant externship experience will be considered. Must demonstrate knowledge of cognitive/early learning milestones, early childhood speech and language development, and the differences between Early Intervention (EI) and PreSchool (CPSE) programs. At least 2 years experience working with the 0-5 yr. old population is preferable. Must have a NYS Driver's License, as well as a reliable vehicle registered with insurance in NYS and an acceptable driving record.

 

Full-Time Accounting Supervisor - Accounts Payable and Payroll

Responsible for the day-to-day processing of Accounts Payable disbursements; providing guidance to the Accounts Payable team to ensure the accurate and timely payments to vendors and employees; and assures compliance with policies and procedures.Minimum requirements:  Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in accounting or finance or a combination of education and experience.Experience processing payroll and working with a payroll system.  

 

Maintenance Technician 

Responsible for the maintenance, repair and energy management of Cantalician facilities including day to day maintenance, preventative maintenance, health and safety, and building inspections. Maintenance Technician is responsible oversight and maintenance of fleet of vehicles; and acting as an onsite liaison with outside contractors. Assists the Facilities Manager at both locations as needed. In the absence of the Facilities Manager, this employee is responsible for the day to day facilities oversight (maintenance & custodial) at all sites.  High school diploma and prior experience in one of the skilled trades - electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc. and three - five years of maintenance experience. Must have a valid NYS Drivers license. 

 

Occupational Therapist - Community Based; Full-time, Part-time or FFS also available 

Service provision and evaluation work needed. This job is 100% community based (homes, daycares, preschools; assignments in Erie and Niagara Counties); flexible scheduling even for FT. Preferred experience: two to five years working with the 0-5 yr. old population. A strong candidate will demonstrate confidence and ability to work independently. Must have a Master's degree in occupational therapy and licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of New York by NYSED.  Working knowledge of the differences between Early Intervention (EI) and PreSchool (CPSE) programs required. Evaluation and diagnostic experience with the Early Intervention (birth-3) population a plus! Will mentor the right candidate.  Must have a NYS Driver's License, as well as a reliable vehicle registered and insurance in New York State and an acceptable driving record.

 

Full-Time and Substitute Teacher Assistant

Assist teacher and teacher's assistant with providing comprehensive educational and functional training for students. NY State Teacher Assistant Certification or a Teacher Certification required. Prior experience preferred. 7:30am-2:30pm M-F. 

 

Full-Time and Substitute Classroom Aide

Assist teacher with providing comprehensive educational and functional training for students. Must have a high school Diploma. Full-Time 7:30am-2:30pm M-F.

 

Substitute Teachers

Must have a NYS Teacher Certification and be available to work at least three days a week. 7:30-2:30. M-F

Community Services

 

Full-Time and Substitute Direct Support Professionals**

Teaching and role modeling activities of daily living while promoting independence in the community for adults with developmental disabilities. Daytime hours, Monday through Friday. Minimum: HS diploma or GED. Must have a valid NYS driver's license and insurance in good standing. Buffalo Monday through Friday work Week.


Laborer

Light assembly work.  Completed light assembly as assigned by Production Supervisor or Assistant Production Supervisor.  High school graduate or equivalency diploma.
