Set forth below is a summary of some of the many benefits afforded to our employees.

 

401K Plan
Cantalician Center's 401(k) plan is intended to provide you with an opportunity to build your personal savings and provide you an additional source of retirement income. Employees can make changes to their account twice a year on the plans entry dates, January 1st or July 1st.  New employees are eligible to participate in the plan of the next entry date following the one year anniversary of their date of hire.

DAYCARE
Cantalician Center affords its employees the opportunity to enroll their dependents in our Community Based Day Care at a discounted rate.

FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT
Cantalician Center affords employees the opportunity to allocate pre-tax dollars into a Flexible Spending Account sponsored by Ameri-flex to offset health insurance co-pays, prescription co-pays, and dependent care expenses. New employees are eligible to participate the 1st of the month following their date of hire or March 1st of each year.

HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT

Cantalician Center affords employees the opportunity to allocate pre-tax dollars into a Health Savings Account sponsored by Health Equity to offset health insurance co-pays, prescription co-pays, and dependent care expense when participating in a High Deductible health insurance option.  New employees are eligible to participate following completion of the first sixty days of employment or at open enrollment on March 1st of each year.

DENTAL INSURANCE
Cantalician Center affords full-time employees the opportunity to purchase single and family dental insurance through Guardian. There are three options available, one of which includes Orthodontia.  New employees are eligible to participate the month following their date of hire or at open enrollment on March 1st of each year.

HEALTH INSURANCE
Cantalician Center affords full-time employees the opportunity to elect health insurance the first of the month following completion of the first sixty days of employment or at open enrollment on March 1st of each year. Cantalician offer three plans through Independent Health:  Flexfit, Encompass Essential or I-Direct. Cantalician Center pays a considerable portion of the single/or family monthly premiums.

LIFE INSURANCE
Full-time employees are eligible to participate in a Cantalician Center sponsored life insurance program offered through Mutual of Omaha.  Employees are eligible to participate the first of the month following their date of hire. The life insurance benefit is a term life insurance plan equal to one times an employee's salary.  Supplemental dependent coverage is also provided.  Employees have the option of purchasing supplemental coverage for themselves and their dependents.

PET INSURANCE

Cantalician Center affords full-time employees the opportunity to purchase pet insurance through Nationwide. There are many options available, depending on your pet and level of coverage.  New employees are eligible to participate the month following their date of hire or at open enrollment on March 1st of each year.

LONG TERM DISABILITY
Cantalician Center provides long-term disability benefits to full-time employees upon completion of their first ninety (90) days of work. The plan is offered through Mutual of Omaha.  Eligibility and coverage are governed by the Plan. Coverage ceases upon retirement or termination of employment for any reason.

PAID RECESS
Full-time instructional staff, at the Cantalician Center are entitled to paid recess. 

 

PAID HOLIDAYS AND PTO
Full-time staff are entitled to designated paid holidays and paid time off "(PTO") based on their job classification and scheduled work hours.  The PTO benefit year runs from September 1 to August 31.
