Preschool

(Ages 3 to 5 years)

Did you know Cantalician Center for Learning offers Preschool to children with all abilities? Students in our Preschool are made up of the greater community and are either with or without developmental delays or disabilities. Our instruction is tailored to meet his or her individual needs through a literature based thematic approach to foster your child's strengths, while preparing him or her for a successful and fulfilling kindergarten experience.

We offer non-integrated classroom settings with six students in a room. There are multiple opportunities for integration with peers who are non-disabled. Preschoolers who qualify for special education services in the Preschool setting are placed by the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE).

Kindergarten readiness is emphasized through the provision of reading readiness, math experiences, discovery science, computer enrichment in our IT lab and daily language experiences. Children will also have the opportunity to participate in daily motor activities.

Special Services and Support 

Cantalician Center was founded to meet the individual needs of all children. We understand the importance of education and therapy services beginning at a very early age in children with developmental disabilities. Since 2008, these programs have placed 93% of its students back into their home school district for kindergarten.
